Division II Championship Results

Vortex swimmers represented their team and coaches very well at the Division II Championship Meet in Tulsa on the chilly weekend of February 10th.  Cason Shores faced some tough competition and placed 8th overall in the Boys 11-12 100 meter backstroke.  Ethan Heath pushed hard and swam his way to the 5th place position in the boys 11-12 100 meter breaststroke finals.  Mollie May took 8th place in both the girls 11-12 50 meter freestyle and 200 meter IM events, finished 6th in the 100 meter backstroke finals, and narrowly placed 2nd in the girls 11-12 50 meter backstroke finals!  If you seem them around the pool deck, give them a hearty congratulations; this is what it looks like when hard work pays off!
